Thank you for looking into this website, which I hope will give you an insight into my art. Here you will find a spectrum of my works of the different phases and styles that have evolved through a life dedicated to painting.
My latest works depicting Art Deco glass are my most creative and personal so far, continuing the inspiration I take from my time in Venice and its famous Murano glass. After a series of paintings depicting Murano creations I have moved onto depicting glass and its translucency with more angular forms, like those found in glass works from the 1930’s Art Deco period. The result is to depict colour combinations, translucency and reflections that create a visual magic from the subjects and create an interest far beyond more natural still life works.
