The Spanish Collection

This collection is my most recent work, after a lifetime of using bold colour I have muted my palette using a very limited one, it is therefor a contradiction in choice since the subject matter is full colour in reality, the figures are long and merge into each other forming swirls and dissected patterns. My frequent trips to Sevilla Fair are what triggered off this inspiration, together with my love for Deco Art, the twisted figures have been inspired by the the great Tamara Lepicka.

I continue to explore more possibilities in this style, the curves, are totally improvised, I go where the brush wishes to take me, painting in this way makes me have fun, I hope you enjoy viewing them too.
